What “unlimited” means
- Videos with captionsNo limit. They are read from their captions, at full speed.
- 50 hours of audio a monthPodcasts, audio links, YouTube videos without captions and speaker labels are audio. The first 50 hours each month run at full speed.
- After that, slowerOne transcript at a time and up to 1 hour of audio a day, until the month resets on the 1st (UTC). Your workspace shows the hours you used.
- What uses creditsThe most accurate speech model, when you choose it for a private transcript, and work through an API token. Top-up credits pay for them.
We may slow down or stop use that is automated or shared between people. The terms say how.
What uses AI credits
On Unlimited, only the most accurate speech model and work through an API token use credits, at the rates below. On the free plan, all new work uses them.

Public and private transcripts cost the same, on our standard speech model. The most accurate model we tested costs more (podcasts 61 an hour, audio links 71, YouTube without captions 84), and only accounts with bought credits or Unlimited can choose it, for a private transcript.

- Is it really unlimited?
- Videos with captions are. Audio is fair use: 50 hours a month at full speed, then up to 1 hour a day until the month resets. Most people use far less.
- Monthly or yearly?
- Monthly is US$9.99 a month. Yearly is US$59.99 once a year, about US$5 a month. Before a yearly plan renews, you get an email reminder.
- Is there a free trial?
- The free plan is the trial: 30 AI credits when you sign up and 30 every month, with no card. Unlimited starts as soon as you pay.
- Which speech model does Unlimited use?
- The standard model, 87.5% accurate in our benchmark. For a private transcript where every word matters, choose the most accurate model we tested (90.1%); it uses AI credits.
- What happens if I cancel?
- You are not charged again. Unlimited lasts until the end of the time you paid for. Your private transcripts stay private, readable and exportable.
- Can I get a refund?
- Within 7 days of a payment you can ask for a full refund of it; Unlimited then ends.
- Is tax included?
- Yes. The price you see is the price you pay: any tax is inside it, and nothing is added at checkout. Businesses can add a VAT or tax number at checkout.
- Do my AI apps and scripts get Unlimited too?
- AI apps you connect to your account, such as Claude, work like the website. Scripts that use an API token pay with AI credits.
